The film presents a biographical view of two women, Marcella Gracia Ives and Eliza Sanchez Lorega, who decided to marry in La Coruna, Spain. In order to do so, Eliza had to adopt the identity of a male named Mario Sanchez, as included in the marriage certificate to pass through that obstacle.
